Hello Friday.
April 19 2024
What started as a side hustle is now a thriving business — Anne’s Apothecary is a beauty, cosmetic + personal care shop that makes clean skincare products. The brand has opened its first brick and mortar store in Downtown Raleigh at 206 S. Wilmington St. (near The ZEN Succulent).
Anne’s Apothecary started ~4 years ago as an online + pop-up shop. Its products are carried in over 100 stores nationwide and have been featured in magazines such as PopSugar, Medium, and Elle. As the brand’s popularity grew, Anne Suinner-Lawoyin (the owner and founder of Anne’s Apothecary) wanted a more “permanent space.”

The 664 sqft shop has a light-blue exterior that is hard to miss when walking down the street. There are 80+ items for individuals to try including face masks, cleansers, room sprays, teas, and more. Pro tip: The black honey facial cleanser is a top seller + plant-based.
Anne wants to help Raleighites reach their skincare goals and has a product for every skin type. She also hopes to offer Anne’s Apothecary classes and events on-site eventually + is looking for more team members — if you are interested in working at Anne’s Apothecary, email Anne here.
