Has your family packed up + headed home from their holiday trip to Raleigh? Did you just touch down at RDU and you’re already thinking about what you + your Raleigh crew are going to do around downtown this week?
Downtown Raleigh’s newest nightclub — Zenith Raleigh — opened at 226 Fayetteville St. earlier this month, and we’re sharing a run down on the spot + helping you sort out your next night out on Fayetteville Street. 🎶 Zenith Raleigh officially opened on Sun., Nov. 12 | Photo by @downtownraleighalliance The futuristic nightclub took over the former Coglin’s establishment, which closed on Dec. 31, 2020 due to restrictions on bars during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Zenith Raleigh highlights:
Hours of operation:
Current Zenith Raleigh partner Will Gibbs — the former general manager of Coglin’s — shared with the Triangle Business Journal that he has brought back some former Coglin’s staff members + DJs. He also noted that the bar will keep its love for 1980s and 1990s culture, but will shift towards incorporating more pop culture themes across different eras.
If you’re looking for a way to party with a purpose, check out the upcoming Zenith Raleigh Christmas Party Fundraiser, happening Sun., Dec. 5 from 3-8 p.m. All donations will go directly to the Special Needs Program at East Wake High School.
You can also check out the Zenith Raleigh shop — offering various Zenith Raleigh + downtown Raleigh-related apparel items — here.
