Hello Thursday.
April 25 2024
Calling all golf lovers and those who simply enjoy yelling “fore” after every swing. Mark your calendars for Topgolf Live, a national stadium tour coming to UNC’s Kenan Memorial Stadium on Thurs., March 3 and staying through Sun., March 6.

Topgolf — a sports entertainment company based in Dallas, TX — is stopping in Chapel Hill to convert UNC’s football stadium into a temporary, Topgolf-like experience.
Not a golfer? No worries. The experience is meant for any skill level, from local golf legend Chesson Hadley to our entire editorial team that has zero years of combined golf experience.
When you show up to your bay, your station will already be prepped with a set of freshly cleaned clubs. Typically, the experience hosts six large targets on the stadium field that are 40 to 150 yards away. Scores are determined based on the distance and accuracy of your shot — the further your ball goes and the closer to the center of a target it lands, the more points you’ll earn. This may sound difficult, but don’t worry. We have some insider information for you. The last of your five swings counts as double points, so you’ll have plenty of turns to perfect your swing and score high.
Not sure you’ll be able to follow your (great or not-so-great) shot? Toptracer technology will track your golf balls and show instant replays on the game screen in your upper deck hitting bay.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Jan., 7 at 10 a.m. Buy tickets here, starting at $80 per player + $40 for students.
